I am a second year research master student in Global History at the Vrije Universiteit with an interest in labour history and post-colonial theory. Currently, my research at the VU centres around the role of museums in nation-building, in particular how these shape public understanding and memory regarding history. I graduated from a bachelor of arts in International Justice at Leiden University College, where I researched the history of women’s reproductive rights with regards to changing constitutions of former Soviet states. At the IISH, I am part of the student assistant team of the Global Hub Labour Conflicts project, where I hope to help expand the scope of research and data regarding the history of labour conflicts.
