Sabine Go is assistant professor of Accounting at VU Amsterdam. Her research focuses on the emergence and development of economic institutions during early modern and modern times in the Low Countries. She is PI of the international “Risky Business” project. Her most recent project focuses on the involvement of the Dutch insurance industry with slavery (18th – 19th centuries).
