Fifth International Conference on Iran’s Economy (2018)
The International Iranian Economic Association (IIEA) is pleased to announce its fifth conference on Iran’s Economy to be held at International Institute of Social History, Amsterdam, Holland on March 8-9, 2018.
The event follows a series of successful conferences on the Iranian Economy that have been held at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2008), University of Southern California (2009), University of Chicago (2010), SOAS (the Inaugural Conference of IIEA, 2011), Bilgi University (2013), Boston College (2014), and Philipps-University of Marburg (2016). As on previous occasions, the purpose of this conference is to showcase the best current research on Iran’s economy and to generate information and encouragement for future high quality research in this area.

Note that admission for academics and students residing in Iran is complimentary (no fee), but the registration form needs to be completed.

The International Iranian Economic Association (IIEA) is a private, non-profit, and non-political association of scholars interested in the study of economic issues concerning Iran, in the broadest sense of the term.
