Linked Open Data

DataLegend is the ecosystem of economic and social history data on the web. Only when datasets reside on the web, described in common vocabularies, are we able to connect datasets in an efficient way.

Unfortunately many datasets reside only within data archives and are described with bespoke vocabularies, minimising opportunities for interoperability and re-use. dataLegend not only provides a multitude of datasets as Linked Open Data, it also provides tools to create Linked Data yourself, to store and browse Linked Data, as well as to share your Linked Data queries.

Druid

Druid is the triplestore of dataLegend (work package 4 in CLARIAH). The triplestore hosts structured datasets from social and economic history.
