Thailand Social and Political Developments Collection

19 June 2019 - 11:00

Thailand Social and Political developments Collection is the new name of what formerly was known as the DOC or documentation collections (DOC Thailand in this case) The Asia Department with support of Collection Processing has started to make new descriptions of her existing documentation collections, which then are transferred to the EAD format and put online. This also means that they have their own collection numbers and are located under the header of Archives. The collections can most easily be found by searching for '[name of country] Social and Political Developments Collection' in the title field (search.iisg.amsterdam)
Thailand is one of the bigger and more interesting collections, especially in relation to the last 8-9 years, going back to the first anti-Thaksin protest rallies. Many leaflets and flyers documenting the political conflicts of this last decade can be found here, and which won't be found in many other libraries.
See: http://hdl.handle.net/10622/COLL00037 or: http://search.iisg.amsterdam/Record/COLL00037/ArchiveContentList for direct access to the Content List.
