Tim Ruting is a historian specialising in labour relations, the decolonisation of Portuguese Africa and solidarity with the Global South. Tim is currently working on the final report of the research project “Flexible labour in the Dutch polder (1950-2020)”. This is accompanied by events and publications on the history of flexible labour in the Netherlands and what we can learn from it in the present day.
