The Common Lab Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities in the Netherlands - CLARIAH-NL is the organisation overseeing the continued development of the Dutch national infrastructure for the humanities. This infrastructure provides a diverse range of tools, services, and datasets to support the academic community’s evolving digital research needs, enabling efficient, culturally grounded, and reproducible research.
One of CLARIAH-NL’s current projects is SSHOC-NL, co-funded by the Dutch Research Council - NWO. SSHOC-NL is a joint initiative with the Open Data Infrastructure for Social Science and Economic Innovations - ODISSEI. This consortium of research infrastructures is on a mission to enable groundbreaking interdisciplinary research that focuses on complex societal challenges, such as environmental change, polarisation or inequality, by creating a state-of-the-art ecosystem of services, data, and tools for the social sciences and humanities sector.
