HSN Releases
This list contains public and scientific HSN releases. This distinction is made between releases available to the public without restriction ('public releases') and releases which may be made public subject to restrictions ('scientific releases').
Depending on the period, releases are more or less made anonymous (See our privacy statement and privacy regulations).
Public releases are all releases which may be consulted by everyone, under conditions formulated in our license agreement. These releases are available via the International Institute of Social History as well as via DANS (Data Archiving and Networked Services).
We are working on a new public release. The present one contains data from the province of Utrecht, but is not available anymore except for specific reasons.
In general downloading HSN-databases and codebooks will be done by way of our Download service.
Scientific releases usually are only available to researchers. Quite often they are either raw versions of data not yet checked completely, or in case of special projects data not to be released until after a certain period, laid down in a contract with the partners.
