I have been involved on a full time basis in the Dutch anti-apartheid and southern Africa solidarity movement since the early 1970s up till the dissolution of the Dutch Anti-Apartheid Movement in 1994.
From 1994 tot 2008 I have been working with the Netherlands institute for Southern Africa (NIZA) as coördinator of its Library, Information and Documentation Centre and in charge of the archives of the former Dutch anti-apartheid groups which merged into NIZA in 1997.
From March 2008 I am working with the International Institute of Social History, specifically with its anti-apartheid and southern Africa collection which came from NIZA in 2008.
