Call for papers The Transformations in the World of Work
We would like to draw your attention to a call for papers for the masterclass The Transformations in the World of Work: Bringing Sociological and Historical Perspectives Together.
This Masterclass with prof. dr. Nicole Mayer-Ahuja (University of Göttingen, SOFI) will be part of a two-day symposium The Transformation in the World of Work in Germany, the Netherlands and Beyond organized by The Germany Institute, the International Institute of Social History and the N.W. Posthumus Institute, in Amsterdam on 10-11 June 2020. For the Masterclass we invite young scholars, from global labour history, social and economic history, (labour) sociology and (labour) anthropology, who study the transformation in work since the 1970s up until today. Interested candidates are invited to send an abstract (c. 300 words) before April 1, 2020.
Further information about the full program for both junior and senior scholars will follow soon.
