Data Policy Documents

The link between the IISH collections and research is formed by data. Data is derived from collections, as an additional access layer of (historical) sources. Such data make it easier for researchers to study concepts in their contexts, such as, for example, mortality probabilities in more and less developed areas.

The IISH actively contributes to unlocking data from (external) collections and offering it to researchers and other interested parties. This data can be found in Dataverse or as Linked Data in dataLegend where we also offer third parties the possibility to deposit their data or to offer it as Linked Data.
