Against the tide: the social mobility of Jewish Dutch (1880-1940)
The application Tegen de stroom in: de sociale mobiliteit van joodse Nederlanders (1880-1940), a collaboration between the Huygens ING and the IISH, has been granted €500,000 by the KNAW Research Fund.
The central question of the research is which strategies of Jewish Dutch people in the period 1880-1940 promoted or hindered upward mobility (and thus their integration)
