El País writes about Kati Horna photographs at IISH
Our colleague, Spanish historian Almudena Rubio, located more than 500 negatives of Hungarian born photographer Kati Horna which were unknown so far. The Spanish newspaper El Pais published an interesting article about this extraordinary find.
The photographs were taken during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). The negatives were discovered in the archives of the anarchist organization CNT-FAI, which was trusted to the IISH in 1939.
Detailed information about our Spanish Civil War collection can be found in our Spanish Civil War Collection Guide.
