Linked data

All collection metadata have been converted to linked data and are updated on a daily basis. The resulting triple store has been used to form the foundation of this website, but is not open to the public. The linked data are created from the following sources:

  • Metadata of books, brochures and serials (in MARC)
  • Archival metadata (in EAD)
  • Digital objects metadata (in METS)
  • Metadata of research datasets (in DDI)
  • Website content

A download from the triple store has been used as contribution to the Adamnet linked data platform. In 2019 the collection linked data will be made available through a sparql endpoint, together with the research linked data already available on the DataLegend website.
