€1 million in funding for Time Machine!

Excited and proud to share great news! The European Commission has chosen Time Machine as one of the six proposals retained for preparing large scale research initiatives to be strategically developed in the next decade. Both IISH and Huygens ING (partners in the KNAW Humanities Cluster) are closely involved in this project.

Rosa Kösters wint Scriptieprijs Vakbeweging 2018

Op 14 februari 2019 heeft Rosa Kösters de Scriptieprijs van de vakbeweging 2018 gewonnen. Rosa deed onderzoek naar de transformatie van werkvloerverhoudingen in de jaren zeventig en tachtig bij Philips en Hoogovens.

Stefano Bellucci, senior researcher and collector for Africa at the International Institute of Social History, has been awarded a grant by the EAP for a pilot project for the preservation and digitisation of the workers’ files of the Takoradi Railways (now part of the Ghana Railways Corporation).
